Defect: ADVENTURER IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 ADVENTURER MOTOR HOMES AND TRUCK CAMPERS EQUIPPED WITH SUBURBAN GAS COOK STOVES WITH SEALED BURNERS. THE UNITS INVOLVED USE AN ALUMINUM TUBE TO CARRY LIQUID PROPANE GAS FROM THE OVEN CONTROL VALVE TO THE GAS ORIFICE WHICH SUPPLIES GAS TO THE BURNER. THIS CAN CAUSE THE TUBE TO BREAK RESULTING IN A GAS LEAK WHEN THE OVEN BURNER ATTEMPTS TO LIGHT.
Consequence: A GAS LEAK OCCURRING IN THE AREA OF THE OVEN PILOT CAN CAUSE A "FLASH" WHEN THE GAS IGNITES, AND WOULD CAUSE A FIRE IF THE OVEN VALVE IS NOT PROMPTLY TURNED OFF.
Remedy: A REPLACEMENT GAS LINE WILL BE SOURCED AND TESTED TO INSURE THAT THE DEFECT WHICH CREATED THE STRESS POINT HAS BEEN ELIMINATED. THIS SERVICE WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING OCTOBER 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT ADVENTURE LP at 509-895-7064.

Notes on this record
Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
NHTSA's complaints API and bulk file list no complaint for this make, model and model year in this data build.
