Defect: Greenpower Motor Company Inc. (Greenpower) is recalling certain 2021 Nano Beast school buses. A control module interlock software error may allow the bus to move while the wheelchair lift is deployed.
Consequence: The bus moving while the wheelchair lift is in use increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will update the control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 12, 2026. Owners may contact Greenpower's customer service at 1-909-346-1090. Greenpower's number for this recall is GP2604002.
Defect: Greenpower Motor Company Inc. (Greenpower) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Nano Beast and 2021-2024 Beast school buses. The Cross View Mirror is designed to only view pedestrian around stopped buses. The label warning drivers not to use the mirror to view vehicular traffic may be missing. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 11 (excerpt)
Consequence: Without a warning label, the driver may use the altered view to see other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash. (excerpt)
