Complaints
One complaint can name several systems, so shares can add to more than 100 percent.
Confidence is the model's own probability for the label it chose (0 to 1), not accuracy.
Model-generated labels on tagged complaints only. Model years 2013 and newer are tagged in full; 2012 in part (see tagged_share); earlier model years have no tags. NHTSA's own flags remain separate in the complaints block.
Defect: Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. (Gulf Stream) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Gulf Stream Conquest and B Touring Cruiser motorhomes, models 6314, 6316, 6317, 6320, 63111, 5291 and 5316. These vehicles do not have intermediate side marker lights and have front and rear side marker lights that are spaced more than thirty feet apart. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Mo (excerpt)
Consequence: Without intermediate side marker lights, the motorhome would have decreased visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. (excerpt)
Remedy: Gulf Stream will notify owners, and dealers will install intermediate side marker lights, free of charge. The recall began on May 18, 2018. Owners may contact Gulf Stream customer service at 1-800-289-8787. Gulf Stream's number for this recall is 04172018. (excerpt)
Defect: Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. (Gulf Stream) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Conquest and B Touring Cruiser Class C motorhomes manufactured September 24, 2015 through October 24, 2016. In the affected vehicles, the in-dash radio unit assembly was improperly wired allowing the DVD to operate while the vehicle is in motion.
Consequence: If the DVD monitor is operating and viewable while the vehicle is in motion, it may be a distraction to the driver, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Gulf Stream will notify owners, and dealers will disable the viewing of the DVD monitor while the vehicle is being driven, free of charge. The recall began on December 16, 2016. Owners may contact the Gulf Stream customer service at 1-800-289-8787. Gulf Stream's number for this recall is GM112316.

Notes on this record
Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
