1 recalls.

14V437000

Date: 2014-07-18. Systems: TIRES.

Defect: Koenigsegg Automotive AB (Koenigsegg) is recalling one model year 2013 Agera vehicle manufactured in December 2012, equipped a BF1 Systems Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The affected vehicle may experience the TPMS system not illuminating the TPMS malfunction indicator light when the vehicle is restarted. Thus, this vehicle fails to comply to the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No (excerpt)

Consequence: If the TPMS doesn't illuminate properly when the vehicle is restarted it could cause the driver not to know there is a problem with the tire, increasing the risk of vehicle crash. (excerpt)

Remedy: Koenigsegg has notified the owner, and a dealer has installed a new software version, free of charge. The recall began on July 9, 2014. Owners may contact Koenigsegg's US dealer at 1-212-594-6200. (excerpt)

Do not drive: No. Park outside: No.

Notes on this record

  • Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
  • System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
  • Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
  • A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
  • NHTSA's complaints API and bulk file list no complaint for this make, model and model year in this data build.
