Defect: KZRV, L.P. (KZRV) is recalling certain 2017-2018 KZRV Sportsmen Sportster trailers. There is insufficient clearance between the slide out support arm and the vehicle tires. While the trailer is being towed, the axle travel can allow the tire to contact the support arm.
Consequence: Tire contact with the slide support arm adjustment bolt may damage the tire, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: KZRV will notify owners and dealers will modify the slide room support arm to provide the proper clearance, free of charge. The recall began on November 17, 2017. Owners may contact KZRV customer service at 1-800-768-4016 extensions 154 or 153. KZRV's number for this recall is KZ-2017-07.

Notes on this record
Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
This record lists no complaint under this name, and zero is not confirmed in this data build; the notes below give the reason.
NHTSA lists complaints for this model year under related names: SPORTSMEN (1). They are counted on those records, not here. Zero is not confirmed for this name.
