Defect: McNeilus Truck & Manufacturing, Inc. (McNeilus) is recalling certain 2015-2024 Zero Radius refuse trucks. The side loader arm may not be properly secured, resulting in unexpected movement while driving.
Consequence: A side loader arm that unexpectedly extends out from the vehicle body while driving increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: McNeilus will provide new latch assemblies, free of charge. In addition, a McNeilus technician will update the vehicle software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 18, 2024. Owners may contact McNeilus' customer service at 1-888-686-7278.

Consequence: If the PRD does not activate in the event of a buildup of pressure, the CNG tank may explode, increasing the risk of fire and injury. (excerpt)
