The tire load rating on the installed tires is less than the capacity rating of the trailer. Tires installed onto trailers were "E" rated instead of the required "F" rating. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) num (excerpt)
