Defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Crossroads Redwood, Dutchmen Voltage, and Yukon trailers. The U-bolts on the axles may have been improperly tightened, causing the bolts to loosen and the axle to slide.
Consequence: A sliding axle can result in a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will tighten the axle spring U-bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 27, 2022. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 22-436. This recall expands NHTSA recall number 21V-015.
Defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Dutchmen Yukon 399ML, 400RL and 410RD recreational trailers. The bedroom egress window has a black round knob installed rather than a narrow crank handle.
Consequence: Without the narrow crank handle, the emergency exit may be difficult to open, impeding the ability to open the window and resulting in an increased risk of injury in the event of an emergency.
Remedy: Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will remove the existing black round knob and replace it with a narrow crank handle, free of charge. The recall began October 7, 2020. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 20-386.

Notes on this record
Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
NHTSA's complaints API and bulk file list no complaint for this make, model and model year in this data build.
