8 recalls.

22V891000

Date: 2022-12-02. Systems: SERVICE BRAKES, AIR.

Defect: Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Aspire and Insignia motorhomes. The service and supply reservoirs have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

Consequence: The undersized air brake supply reservoir may provide an insufficient air supply to properly operate the brakes during repetitive braking, reducing braking performance and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the air reservoir, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 21, 2022. Owners may contact Entegra customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

Do not drive: No. Park outside: No.

Defect: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Entegra Anthem, Aspire, Cornerstone, Reatta, Reatta XL, and Jayco Embark Class A motorhomes. The instrument cluster may intermittently go blank while the vehicle is in motion.

Consequence: A blank instrument cluster display may be missing critical information such as the vehicle's speed and warning lights, which can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will update the control module software, and reroute and secure the duct work, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 22, 2021. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

Defect: Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Anthem, Aspire, Insignia, and Reatta XL Class A vehicles. The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot bore holes, allowing the high pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.

Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Entegra will work with Spartan and Cummins to inspect the rail threads and fuel lines, and replace the rail as necessary, free of charge. Cummins began to notify owners July 30, 2021. Entegra owner notification letters began September 3, 2021. Owners may contact Entegra Coach customer service at 1-800-517-9137.

Consequence: Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 31, 2021. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903569.

Consequence: A loose steering column shaft may cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Entegra will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and tighten the upper and lower steering shaft bolts, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began September 23, 2019. Owners may contact Entegra customer service at 1-800-517-9137. Entegra's number for this recall is 9901434.

Notes on this record

  • Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
  • System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
  • Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
  • A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
