Defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2011, 2016-2019, 2021-2024 Rockport Work Trucks. The rear liftgate may have been installed without a U-bolt on the driver and passenger side, which can allow the liftgate to fall to the ground when loaded.
Consequence: A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the U-bolts, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-522-7599. Forest River's number for this recall is 65-1700.

Defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2014-2019 Rockport Work Truck vehicles. The roof and front cap may have been improperly fastened together, potentially allowing the roof to detach from the front cap and vehicle.
Consequence: If the roof detaches from the vehicle, it can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2016 Rockport cargo box trucks and work trucks manufactured December 8, 2015, to May 31, 2016 and built on GM chassis. Cycling the rear ramp in and out may cause the electrical connections on the fuel sending unit to be damaged, resulting in a loss of fuel pressure.
Consequence: A loss of fuel pressure will result in an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will reinstall the loading ramp structure to give sufficient clearance, free of charge. The recall began on November 29, 2016. Defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2014-2016 Forest River Rockport delivery vehicles, models RPAF1270 and RPAA1270, manufactured November 24, 2014, to August 28, 2015. The affected vehicles are equipped with Thieman Tailgates-brand TVL 12/16 series lift gates supported with roller chains that may fail.
Consequence: If the roller chain fails, the lift gate may fall unexpectedly, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Forest River will notify owners, and Thieman Lift Gate distributors will repair the lift gate, free of charge. The recall began on November 11, 2016. (Forest River) is recalling certain model year 2015 and 2016 Rockport vehicles, models RPAF1466N, RPAF14FX and RPGSA92-12, manufactured from January 30, 2015, through February 24, 2015. The affected vehicles may have been manufactured without a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety S (excerpt)
Consequence: Without the TPMS, the driver would not be alerted one or more of the vehicle's tires is under-inflated. An under-inflated tire may result in tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash. (excerpt)
