Defect: International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2019-2025 CV vehicles. The brake pressure sensor assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch and cause a short circuit. (excerpt)
Consequence: An electrical short in the brake pressure switch can overheat the circuit and increase the risk of a fire while driving or parked. (excerpt)
Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will replace the brake pressure switch/fuse harness, free of charge. Defect: Navistar, Inc. (Navistar) is recalling certain 2025 International CV vehicles. The air bag module may not have been activated during installation.
Consequence: Inactive air bags will not deploy during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Navistar will activate the air bag modules, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 22, 2024. Owners may call Navistar Customer Service at 331-332-1590.
