Complaints
One complaint can name several systems, so shares can add to more than 100 percent.
Confidence is the model's own probability for the label it chose (0 to 1), not accuracy.
Model-generated labels on tagged complaints only. Model years 2013 and newer are tagged in full; 2012 in part (see tagged_share); earlier model years have no tags. NHTSA's own flags remain separate in the complaints block.
Defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2018 Passport recreational trailers, models 153ML, 171EXP, 175BH, 195RB, 199ML, 217EXP and 239ML. The spare tire carrier may not have been mounted properly to the back wall of the trailer, and, as a result, the spare tire and carrier may detach from the trailer.
Consequence: If the spare tire and carrier detaches from the trailer while it is being towed, it can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the spare tire carrier mounting and install reinforcing backers if necessary, free of charge. The recall began on April 14, 2018. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 18-311.
Defect: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2018 Keystone Passport, Summerland and Hideout, Dutchmen Aspen Trail and Coleman, and Crossroads Zinger recreational trailers. These vehicles are equipped with Norcold N306 mini refrigerators that may have a loose or missing propane gas valve test port screw.
Consequence: The loose or missing propane gas port screw can allow propane gas to leak when the refrigerator is used in 'gas' mode, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will install and tighten the gas valve port screw, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on April 23, 2018. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 18-315.

A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V755-5127.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from dischar (excerpt)
Consequence: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury. (excerpt)
Remedy: Keystone will notify owners and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-574-535-2100, or Kidde customer service toll-free at 1-855-262-3540, or online at www.kidde.com and click on "Product Safety Recall" for more information. Notes on this record
Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
