Defect: Rosenbauer America (Rosenbauer) is recalling certain 2018-2021 Commander, 2018-2020 Warrior, and 2020-2022 Commercial 114SD vehicles. The fuel tubes between the fuel rail and the injector for cylinders 4, 5, and 6 may be susceptible to cracking, resulting in a high-pressure fuel leak.
Consequence: A high-pressure fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Cummins dealers will install vibration isolators, and replace the fuel tubes as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 8, 2022. Owners may contact Cummins customer service at 1-800-286-6467.

Notes on this record
Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
NHTSA's complaints API and bulk file list no complaint for this make, model and model year in this data build.
