25V354000

Date: 2025-06-26. Systems: STRUCTURE.

Defect: Temsa is recalling certain 2022-2025 TS30, 2023-2024 TS45, 2024 TS35, and 2025 TS45E vehicles. The lock mechanism may have been installed incorrectly, causing the roof hatch release handle to break.

Consequence: A broken handle could prevent or delay occupants from exiting the vehicle during an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Temsa will inspect and repair the mounting surface, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 24, 2025. Owners may contact Temsa customer service at 1-833-628-3672.

Do not drive: No. Park outside: No.

Defect: Temsa is recalling certain 2021-2025 TS30, TS35, and 2021-2026 TS45 buses equipped with a Mux5-B multiplex. The temporary bus stop valve may activate unintentionally and apply the brakes, causing them to overheat.

Consequence: Brakes that overheat can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Temsa will inspect the multiplex, update the software, and repair the wiring harness as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 11, 2025. Owners may contact Temsa customer service at 1-833-628-3672.

Do not drive: No. Park outside: No.

25V189000

Date: 2025-04-17. Systems: EQUIPMENT.

As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."

Consequence: An incorrect weight rating may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Temsa service centers will replace the certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 27, 2025. Owners may contact Temsa customer service at 1-833-628-3672.

Do not drive: No. Park outside: No.

Notes on this record

  • Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
  • System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
  • Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
  • A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
  • NHTSA's complaints API and bulk file list no complaint for this make, model and model year in this data build.
