(Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Zephyr, Wayfarer, Phaeton, Open Trail, GT1, Allegro Red, Allegro Open Road, Allegro Bus, Allegro Bay, 2026 Midas, Byway, and Allegro Breeze recreational vehicles, equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.
Consequence: An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the circuit board, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 26, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label may have been incorrectly printed on a white label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars."
Consequence: The incorrect label color may make it difficult for the operator to locate the loading or tire pressure information, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is WAY-107.
