3 recalls.

26V557000

Date: 2026-08-31. Systems: EQUIPMENT.

Defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Wayfarer recreational vehicles. The liquid propane (LP) tank may have been manufactured without the remote shut off and may be loose in the mounting bracket.

Consequence: LP tanks that cannot be shut off increase the risk of a fire. Additionally a loose LP tank may detach and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will install a remote shut off and replace the bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by October 30, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is WAY-108.

Do not drive: No. Park outside: No.

26V412000

Date: 2026-06-29. Systems: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, EQUIPMENT.

Defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Zephyr, Wayfarer, Phaeton, Open Trail, GT1, Allegro Red, Allegro Open Road, Allegro Bus, Allegro Bay, 2026 Midas, Byway, and Allegro Breeze recreational vehicles, equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.

Consequence: An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the circuit board, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 26, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is TIF-149. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning August 28, 2026.

26V342000

Date: 2026-05-27. Systems: EQUIPMENT.

Defect: Tiffin Motorhomes, Inc. (Tiffin) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Open Trail, Wayfarer, and 2026 Midas recreational vehicles. The Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) label may have been incorrectly printed on a white label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars."

Consequence: The incorrect label color may make it difficult for the operator to locate the loading or tire pressure information, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 2, 2026. Owners may contact Tiffin customer service at 1-256-356-8661. Tiffin's number for this recall is WAY-107.

Do not drive: No. Park outside: No.

Notes on this record

  • Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
  • System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
  • Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
  • A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
