Defect: KTM North America, Inc. (KTM) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Husqvarna FE 501S, Husqvarna FE 350S, 2024 GasGas ES 350, and GasGas ES 500 motorcycles. During backwards rolling, the brake caliper may crack near the primary pin casting, which may cause the caliper to break when riding.
Consequence: Cracks or breaks in the rear brake caliper can reduce braking ability, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealer will replace the rear brake caliper, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 31, 2026. Owners may contact KTM and Husqvarna customer service at 1-888-985-6090. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov July 15, 2026.

Consequence: A broken front brake caliper can cause a loss of front brake function, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the front brake caliper, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2025. Owners may contact KTM customer service at 1-888-985-6090.
