Defect: CERTAIN CLASS 8 CHASSIS FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT." FRONT DRIVE AXLES WERE INSTALLED BY THE MACUNGIE MODIFICATION CENTER. WITH THE INSTALLATION OF THE AXLE, THE OVERALL HEIGHT OF THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE WAS RAISED. (excerpt)
