Complaints
One complaint can name several systems, so shares can add to more than 100 percent.
Confidence is the model's own probability for the label it chose (0 to 1), not accuracy.
Model-generated labels on tagged complaints only. Model years 2013 and newer are tagged in full; 2012 in part (see tagged_share); earlier model years have no tags. NHTSA's own flags remain separate in the complaints block.
Date: 2025-04-09. Systems: SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC.
Defect: McLaren Automotive Incorporated (McClaren) is recalling certain 2020-2025 600LT, 720S, Artura, GT, and GTS vehicles. The brake lines may be routed incorrectly and cause the brakes on the incorrect side to activate, possibly resulting in one of the rear wheels locking up.
Consequence: A rear wheel locking condition may cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and correct the brake line connections as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 21, 2025. Owners may contact McClaren customer service at 1-646-429-8916.
Defect: McLaren Automotive Incorporated (McLaren) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Artura vehicles. A pipe in the low-pressure fuel pipe assembly may detach, which can result in a fuel leak.
Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of hot engine components can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the low-pressure fuel pipe assembly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 7, 2023. Owners may contact McLaren customer service at 855-202-8815.
Defect: McLaren Automotive Incorporated (McLaren) is recalling certain 2023 Artura vehicles. The nuts for the high pressure fuel pipe may loosen, which can result in a fuel leak.

McLaren Artura Oil Leak Diagnosis Guide - Rear of Engine
Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
