Defect: Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling certain 2023-2024 P50 motor coaches. The brake lights may fail to illuminate unless the brake pedal is fully depressed.
Consequence: Brake lights that fail to illuminate may reduce the visibility of the vehicle or fail to indicate to other drivers that the coach is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Newell will rewire the brake switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 14, 2023. Owners may contact Newell customer service at 1-888-363-9355.

Consequence: A failed battery disconnect switch increases the risk of electrical shock and injury during maintenance or repairs.
