Defect: E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2012-2015 E-One Cyclone II, Cyclone III and Typhoon emergency vehicles. High current load in the HVAC system can cause one of the relays to melt.
Consequence: A melting relay can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: E-One will notify owners, and dealers will install a new relay assembly, free of charge. The recall began January 10, 2019. Owners may contact E-One customer service at 1-352-861-3612.
Defect: E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2008-2015 E-One Typhoon, Cyclone II, and Quest II vehicles, equipped with Timoney Independent Front Suspensions. Inconsistent machining may result in fatigue cracks developing over time in the front axle spindles, causing failure of the spindle and the possible separation of a front wheel from the vehicle.
Consequence: A wheel separation from the vehicle can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: E-One will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front axle spindle, free of charge. The recall began on April 24, 2018. Owners may contact E-One customer service at 1-352-861-3612.

E-ONE VEHICLES ARE DESIGNED WITH ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT PROTECTION (E.G. FUSES), TO PROVIDE OVERCURRENT PROTECTION DURING SHORT-CIRCUIT CONDITIONS OR MALFUNCTION OF COMPONENTS. FUSES ARE SOMETIMES SHARED AMONGST DIFFERENT CIRCUITS. FOR EXAMPLE, THE CIRCUITS FOR THE PUMP PRIMER MOTOR AND CHASSIS POWER SH
Notes on this record
Complaints from the API and bulk file are merged and deduplicated by ODI number; the API alone misses records.
System and subsystem counts are numbers of distinct complaints, recalls or communications that name them. One record can name several systems, so shares across systems can add to more than 100 percent; a single share never exceeds 100 percent.
Recalls are counted once per campaign, investigations once per action and manufacturer communications once per NHTSA id, even when NHTSA lists several model names for the same record.
A sales denominator is a calendar-year proxy, not the population of vehicles still in use. Rates are copied from verified pipeline output.
NHTSA's complaints API and bulk file list no complaint for this make, model and model year in this data build.
