Defect: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Transit vehicles. The engine crossmember may not be secured properly, which can cause the engine to shift and possibly result in a loss of drive power or brake failure.
Consequence: A loss of drive power or brake failure increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the cross member fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. The Instrument Panel Cluster may not properly illuminate warning lights or gauges. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 101, "Control and Displays."
Consequence: An instrument panel that does not illuminate critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, can increase the risk of a crash.

Defect: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Ford Transit vehicles previously repaired under recall number 24V-102. Incorrect bolts may have been used to attach the rear axle shaft, which can lead to the rear wheel locking up or separating from the axle.
Consequence: Rear wheel lock-up or separation of the wheel from the axle shaft can result in loss of vehicle control or loss of drive power. In addition, the vehicle may roll in park if the parking brake is not applied. Any of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the rear axle shaft bolts, replace incorrect bolts as necessary, and fill the differential fluid if needed, free of charge.
