Defect: Altec Industries Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2011-2025 Aerial Device, Digger Derrick, and 2022-2025 Service Body vehicles. The cable step wire rope assembly may be improperly secured, which can allow the cable entry step to detach from the vehicle.
Consequence: A cable step that fails during use increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Altec will provide owners with instructions to inspect the cable crimps. If the cables are improperly crimped, Altec will provide instructions and a kit to replace the wire rope assemblies. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 24, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Defect: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Altec LR7 and LR8 aerial devices. The hydraulic cylinder feeder tube routed near the cylinder rest bracket may become damaged and leak oil, which can result in uncontrolled boom movement.
Consequence: Uncontrolled movement of the boom can increase the risk of injury.

Defect: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2021-2023 CB5-132D-S vehicles equipped with a Bobcat 260 welder installed on a track system. The welder may be misaligned, preventing the mounting fasteners from being properly tightened.
Consequence: Loose fasteners can allow the welder to detach from the vehicle, becoming a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect: Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Aerial Devices (AT, TA, L44, L45, LR8, AA, AM, AN) and D series Digger Derricks (DH, DL, DM, DT). The power inverter that converts electrical DC power to AC power may have been installed without a circuit breaker to protect the AC output circuit.
Consequence: Without a circuit breaker, the AC circuit may overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Consequence: An outlet without GFCI protection may fail to shut off electrical power when a ground-fault occurs, increasing the risk of injury or fire.
